They are not fond of the peas and hot peppers though so I only plant enough for me. Good luck with your new garden beds!

~LLA Muranohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00827994015402999638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1543427408513948174.post-8250803665061271482017-03-10T19:48:48.720-05:002017-03-10T19:48:48.720-05:00I am certainly glad I'm not the only one! lol ...I am certainly glad I'm not the only one! lol My son eats cucumbers whole. He just rinses them in the garden hose and eats it like a banana. I can't blame him though, it's just all so good when it's fresh! I hope the frost stays away from your salad beds!

~LLA Muranohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00827994015402999638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1543427408513948174.post-45729094380126649352017-03-10T19:46:07.933-05:002017-03-10T19:46:07.933-05:00That's so heartbreaking when that happens! The husband laughs at me, but in a pinch it works! lol

~LLA Muranohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00827994015402999638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1543427408513948174.post-17104855920348614612017-03-10T19:34:17.347-05:002017-03-10T19:34:17.347-05:00I have not tried to kill okra....but I dang near k...I have not tried to kill okra....but I dang near killed the cucumbers last year and they're pretty hardy! lol I did not have enough time in my garden last year sadly, so I'm hoping for a better growing season this year!

~LLA Muranohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00827994015402999638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1543427408513948174.post-4218878872266398862017-03-08T08:25:31.739-05:002017-03-08T08:25:31.739-05:00#3 was my downfall with last year's garden. I tried to grow a large variety of veggies in my garden and it pretty much all died because I just didn't have time for anything except the super low maintenance plants (have you ever tried to kill okra??). I can't tell you how many times we've come home after a vacation and been saddened to see that we lost most of our plants. Planning around the time you have available is probably one of the tips that people should use most, but is often overlooked.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13854277991316667331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1543427408513948174.post-44837217760256351522017-02-28T20:41:29.243-05:002017-02-28T20:41:29.243-05:00Thanks for bringing your post to the Blogger's...Thanks for bringing your post to the Blogger's Pit Stop.
Janice, Pit Stop CrewJanice Waldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15298688562236073165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1543427408513948174.post-29154761742683010032017-02-28T10:49:39.439-05:002017-02-28T10:49:39.439-05:00I started gardening last year and was pretty impre...I started gardening last year and was pretty impressed with our first go at it. Thanks for the great tips on getting me ahead of the curve on what I will plant. Your article made me realize that while I love squash and zucchini they are pretty available and plentiful in my area and my husband wouldn't eat them under any circumstances. Therefore not a good use of my limited space!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08443679516372261640noreply@blogger.com
