They are soft and moist with the glaze adding just a hint of sweetness. This is one of those super easy recipes that you will fall back on again and again. Even better....it's not terribly common so you'll have everyone begging for the recipe.
Strawberry Brownies:
Strawberry cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 Tbs milk
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9X13 pan. In a large bowl mix: cake mix, eggs and oil until blended. Spread in pan. I used an oiled spatula to spread it evenly. Batter will be thick. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove pan from oven to cool.
Mix powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. You can pour the glaze on brownies when warm, or wait till cool. This glaze adds just a hint of sweetness. You can use regular vanilla (or strawberry) icing if you prefer but we love these with the glaze Try it both ways and let me know how it works!
I love how simple and easy this recipe is, plus it's easy to keep everything on hand for those last minute "what am I gonna make for dessert?" moments. Enjoy!
